Sahaily Welfare Foundation

A Ladies Welfare Society

Sahaily Welfare Foundation is a non-governmental organization registered under the Social Welfare Department of Punjab. We have been working since 2006 to empower women, provide medical assistance, and support low-income families in need.

Our founder, Sameera Atiq, started a welfare society in 2006 with the aim of making women's lives easier. However, she soon realized that women in Pakistan wanted more than just happiness. They desired education, skills, and the ability to contribute to their families' financial well-being while ensuring their children's health and safety. This led to the establishment of Sahaily Welfare Foundation, a safe space for women to grow themselves.

Our foundation provides financial and emotional support to widowed, divorced, or abandoned women, and we also offer training and education programs to help women become self-sufficient. We offer a variety of skill development training courses, such as computer usage, sewing, embroidery, knitting, stitching, painting, shoemaking, beautician, cooking, and more, to help women gain the ability to provide for themselves and their families.

We also organize medical camps in Lahore, Pakistan, where we provide free medical care, including consultations with a general doctor, a psychologist, and an eye test, as well as free medication. Our medical camps are crucial, as many people in Lahore cannot afford to see a doctor or purchase medication due to financial constraints.

Additionally, we offer free legal advice to women who are victims of domestic violence and injustice, and we provide support and shelter to those in need. We advocate for women's rights by raising awareness of their struggles and lobbying the government to introduce new laws and policies that protect women.

Sahaily Welfare Foundation also helps low-income families with marriage expenses by providing financial assistance for their wedding. We are a non-profit organization that relies on donations and free labor from volunteers, and we have no paid staff or office space.

If you would like to support our cause and help empower women and support their journey to self-sufficiency, please consider donating to Sahaily Welfare Foundation. Your donation will make a real difference in the lives of women and their families. We offer a range of free services, including counseling, financial assistance, and job training and placement, to help those in need.
